OCPIM VIRTUAL TOWN HALL MEETING -- Friday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to noon

We look forward to all of you joining us this Friday for the OCPIM VIRTUAL TOWN HALL MEETING from 10 a.m. to noon. We are excited to share with you that our guest speaker will be Dr. Anthony Bobo. A psychologist specializing in mental health and community development, Dr. Bobo will be speaking on the topic: The Second Pandemic: Coronavirus and Mental Health. In addition, as part of a panel discussion, we will address the greatest barriers to equitable care for new mothers and their families in the OCPIM regions as a result of COVID-19.
Anthony Bobo, Ph.D. is a nationally certified, licensed psychologist, speaker, and presenter who specializes in mental health, education, and community development. Dr. Bobo is the owner of Dr. Bobo, LLC., a private practice, and consulting firm, which provides psychological testing and therapy, and the past chairman of the Board of Directors for Spencer Perkins Center Foundation of Jackson Mississippi. This foundation plans and organizes community development activities for inner-city families.
A frequent presenter for the National Association of School Psychologists and the Association of Black Psychologists, Dr. Bobo presents internationally on issues related to cognitive functioning, social learning, and mental health. He holds several degrees, including an MBA, from The Ohio State University, Georgia State University, Kent State University, and Jackson State University. Dr. Bobo provides mental health therapy services in Atlanta, Georgia where he practices in three offices. Dr. Bobo is married with three adult children.
