Infant Safe Sleep Advocacy Training

Too often, we see a story on the news or read an article in the paper about the tragic loss of a child to SIDS or other sleep-related causes of infant death. Although there is no known way to prevent SIDS completely, there are ways to reduce the risk by ensuring the infant goes to sleep in a safe environment.  Throughout the year, the Baby 1st Network offers opportunities for persons like yourself to become a trained advocate. This training will equip you to serve as a spokesperson for infant safe sleep in your community, and to help reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep-related causes of infant death.

Please email Dr. Stacy Scott for additional information and keep a close watch to our calendar of events for upcoming trainings.
